When performing total knee arthroplasty on a patient with genu valgum, knowledge of the anatomy of the peroneal nerve is essential. In the thigh, the peroneal division of the sciatic nerve is located:
  • Anteromedially

  • Anterolaterally
  • The peroneal division of the sciatic nerve is positioned posterolaterally.
